  • How often is school and club information updated?

    Information is updated on the first of every month.

  • Does the membership automatically renew and pull funds from my bank or credit card every month?

    Yes. Please remember to cancel once our services are no longer required.

  • If I cancel before the subscription ends, do I get a partial reimbursement?

    After your trial period, you will automatically be billed monthly. You may cancel your subscription at any time. You are responsible for the full subscription fee in the monthly billing cycle in which you cancel. Once your account has been billed, all sales are final and there will be no refunds.

  • Who has access to the information on this site (any person's information: athletes, parents, coaches, administrators)?

    All of the information on your basic, free profile is viewable by anyone visiting the website. That includes your Player ID Card, Status, and Schedule.

    Subscribers have additional information that can be viewed by coaches and schools who have logged in. This information is Personally Identifiable Information (PII) that you add for the benefit of coaching and recruiting staff who have logins to the site. This includes your contact information, any video that you have posted, achievements, your GPA, Test scores, your parents’/guardians names, your address, and other information in your profile. No one but you can see the notes that you have taken.

  • What should I use for a profile picture?

    Use an image that shows your face clearly. A head shot like a school photo that’s front-on or ¾ profile is great, and choose the one where you look friendly and open, like this one from our founder, Isiah Beauchamp:

    Why a head shot instead of an action shot? Coaches want to see who you are. They know what it looks like to pose for a sports card. Use your highlight video to show yourself in action – actually in action! You want coaches to remember you and connect your name with a face.

    If you choose a less formal photograph, that’s fine, but make sure you crop out distracting background imagery and focus in on your face.

  • Which sports are represented here?

    We offer profiles and information for the following High School sports:

    • Basketball
    • Football
    • Softball
    • Baseball
    • Volleyball
    • Lacrosse
    • Track
    • Soccer
    • Wrestling
  • How much does the subscription cost?

    Each profile is $9.95 a month per selected sport (choose up to three), or $99.00 annually – like having two months free! We charge a one-time setup fee to cover the initial costs of $29.95 which is non-refundable.

    For example, let’s say you play softball and soccer, and want to get recruited for one or both. You would purchase one profile for each – a softball and soccer profile – so two total. That will cost you $19.90 per month ($9.95 + $9.95 = $19.90). If you buy a yearlong subscription, it will cost $198 per year for the two sports.

    There is also a Basic, free profile that allows you to set up your profile but only show the athlete ID card, your recruitment status, and your schedule. Anyone visiting the website may view this, including coaches.

  • Is there a way for me to import or export my profile information?

    No, there is not a feature like that in our system.

  • Why is my sport not listed?

    As we restructured the business model of TruChampions, we looked for ways to help the most student-athletes, researching the recruiting competition and participation levels of various sports.

    Our research indicated that the above sports had the most recruiting competition and are also the most common across the United States.

    We found a National Federation of High School Association’s “Participation Statistics” page invaluable.

    If you feel that your particular sport needs to be here, please let us know. Statistics aren’t everything!

     

  • How do I cancel my membership?

    You may cancel anytime during the free trial period or during your active monthly subscription by logging into your account, clicking on “My Profile”, clicking the “Subscription” tab, and then clicking the “Cancel Plan” link.
